Ergonomics and Anthropometry Part 1
1. Compare the two types of setup and state reasons why one of the setup is preferred.
2. What are the area of considerations when designing a conducive and comfortable workplace?
3. State the reasons why these considerations are important.
The 1st setup limits one's movement while the other does not. The 1st setup has lesser space to place things like files on it while the other has enough space to keep it tidy and neat.
We have to consider about the adjustment the person will have to make to make himself comfortable. Health is important too for example, the posture of the spine and the distance between the eye and the computer.
If a setup looks uncomfortable and messy, no one will want to buy it.
